Painted the Calipers Today

I figured that since it was nice outside today I would Paint the brake Calipers. So I got started around 1:30pm today and finshed up at 6:00pm. Yes I know a five hour job, But I had to lift one side at a time and turn the stang around to do the other side. But here are a picture of the before and after look. Now this is only 1 coat applied.


Oh and I have been sitting on this Caliper kit for several weeks now LOL

yes, apply a few coats of clear over the red...you wont be disappointed.

yes, apply a few coats of clear over the red...you wont be disappointed.

It's easy and once you start you will be happy you did. Go to your local NAPA part store to get the kit. I think I paid like $25.00 out the door

Take the calipers off, Do SS braided lines and Spray-Paint them at the same time. The spray paint gives a nice finish and you can clean the calipers properly, also dont have to worry about getting it on the pads/rotors and you get all the grooves and back of the caliper...
