my dad painted my last radiator cover before I went with the carbon fiber one.

I have an American Flag airbrushed pony on the Grill. May be cool to get radiator cover extensions and then paint it all like the American Flag waiving. Can any of you do that?

Painted mine this weekend, turned out great. Now i have a grabber orange base coat and im going to a shop tomorro to see about getting it hydro dipped with a film that still uses base color

working on mine right now. looking good but takes alot of coats.


I found that putting a few light coats of Plasti-Dip on it first, followed by a pretty LARGE coat gave it a VERY smooth finish. After painting over top of it you couldnt really tell that the cover was textured

yes there is a special paint. you can do it with other paints but you have a short time window where you can dip and it will take to it. plus most people want to paint it them self's, because if it messes up they are responsible. i wouldnt warranty someone elses work.
