Cold will add boost because the air is denser. You could look up the DA and see just how dense the air is.

Are they the stock style canister mufflers? If so I've seen those make 2lb of boost. I've also seen them blow up.

Haven't seen anything blow up yet, but I started out at 11-12lb and every once and a while would see 15, turns out one of the baffles in the flowmasters that came on the car got loose and would block the exhaust...switched to Magnapacks now I see 10-11lbs.
Hey has anyone in here removed that fabric liner from under the hood? Just trying to free up a little more space to close the hood better.
Well she won't start up. I think I flooded the engine. I fired it up outside to pull in from the rain, I didn't let it warm up though, went to pull out and it died. Won't start now. If I crank it with the pedal to the floor it begins to start and then falls on its face. No Idea lol lovely
Lito still thinks I've got a vac leak. I just sprayed down the engine wieh starting fluid heard no changes ugh
BTW - traction control.. does that work by killing fuel to ur engine?
do you have access to a smoke machine ? or a big hookah party , LOL .
The smoke machine will send smoke thru the system and you WILL find any leak .
The ignition spark is retarded and the fuel/air ratio is modulated to attenuate torque delivered to the slipping tire. If the condition persists, cylinder cut-off occurs ,up to seven cylinders , i also think in some instances that it applies brake pressure to the slipping wheel .
no silly .use the hookah to fill the work area first , LOL .So like fill the engine bay with smoke and see where its moving to? lol

the smoke machine hooks up to a vac. line or whatever and blows the smoke thru all the lines
and or motor . we use it on a/c , vac. leaks and so on .

Oh it will apply braking to the slipping wheel alright. More than a few folks here in town have trashed their rear brakes by leaving the TC on.

You should see what happens when you leave the TC on at track days!!!![]()

You need to learn the 'no lift shift'.![]()
Lol it wouldn't surprise me if I was just bad at driving but I mean i never experienced it before. Maybe the fuel pressure isn't staying up? It did it in 4th gear just cruising when I pushed the throttle down quickly. Took like half a second to accelerate.
