The tune is fine and the car drive great. I have no issues with Dan's tune. The car is not out of injector and the dip is not the same as the other graph posted. We tried to get it out in the tune but it never changed between pulls. It's something you can feel when it happens and I have a feeling it's the plugs. Dan never tried to get me to upgrade anything, I even had 72# injectors with me just in case. Dan is one of the top tuners in the country by far and has over 5000 custom tuned cars to back that up.
On another note I'd rather have my 6 year old niece tune my car rather than Caleb at Fastlane. I've had one of his tunes and I can tell you first hand he can't tune for shit. The problem with Amazon is they never answer the phone and it's like pulling teeth getting a call back. Doesn't exactly instill confidence in my mind if I have an issue with the tune.
The only other shop that would ever touch my car would be JPC racing but they are just too far away.
I'm just saying my car drove like shit under loads up grades (like a on ramp to the interstate). I haven't used anyone else's tuning and just installed my FRPP tune back on the car after constant riff raff. Lost a few hp and tq; but it drives like it is suppose to. So like I said, whether it be plugs or injectors or whatever, just protect yourself from having to keep making trips back and forward to anyone.
I hope you resolve your issue. If you are sure its the plugs, go for a new set for a brand and model that most use on here. If they work, they work, if not.....then you have two sets of plugs in your inventory and I'm sure everyone FI on here will agree you gonna need a new set sometime.
If that doesn't work, I would still like to see you have a third party look over the tune; but if you are dead set.......troubleshoot coilpacks (however I seriously doubt that is remotely a issue). Like Kal said that should be fixed with a tune revision.
Dan is great for inspiring confidence and great customer service while your car is in his hands. However, left much to be desired for buttoning up loose ends. I like to see him fix it. If he can solve your issue, it could inspire more confidence for me with him for future work.
On a different note, I still think it's amazing what a 5.0 can do with FI. Near 500 rwhp in twin screw is fun on the street, but I think if I had a 5.0 I would probably chose your setup or Lund's turbo setup as a fun street. Congrats on a nice car and good luck.
