I'm in the process of building my car up and will have the motor out this spring and would like to know what everyone is running. I would like to keep from bringing the power to the higher rpm to much. Is there anything better then stock for power down low?
It seems that most move everything to the right and with the paxton it already has that flat spot until spooled so I don't want a dog of the line.

I will be running a JDM 302E with stock compression if that helps. I also have Paxton Novi 2200SL HO Supercharger Kit
- FRPP 60 lb. injectors

What kind of power gains over stock? Is it worth the money to go with the cams or just do beefier spings with the stock cams?

30-40rwhp with boost, and yes these cams require valve spring upgrade which is also a good thing to do under boost anyway. It has the very slightest lope, idles and drives like stock cams, and make good power throughout the rpm range with no losses down low out of boost.

Any head work being done?

I am running the 127555's but that's because they were already on the heads that I bought. They are the blower grinds which work well with the blower, ported heads and FRPP intake.

The comp 127550 cams are a good blower cam. Depending on how extreme you want to go there's always the 127650's and if oh want to stay mild the 127350's arnt bad either. You're going to have a good lope at idle and high rev range with the 550/650

If you don't like to rev the car sell your blower and get a twinscrew. When you start to pulley down for more boost it will help with he low end some too with the centri

Thanks. I dont mind reving it I just would rather have a fatter powerband. I wont have head work done until this next winter. My main concern is getting a cam that shifts all the power to the right. I will probably stick with the 127300.

Your car's current configuration is already good for mid 11's (maybe low 11's) in the 1/4 mile. How much faster do you want it to be? If you go to the dragstrip, you'll need a rollcage to pass the tech inspection.

Reason I ask is that the stock cams are plenty stout with the Paxton (my '07 GT had a Vortech V2 blower with stock cams and ran high 11's in the 1/4 mile without the benefit of an intercooler).

If you really need/want to push the car into the 10's, then blower cams can certainly net you 30-40 rwhp and may very well be your ticket into the 10's in the 1/4 mile.

Just trying to get what I can out of it. It would be nice to run 11's without pushing it to the limit and then once a year let her rip and get kicked out:boobies: I will probably not do cams until I can have everything I need to support what I have. I need to get the TR6060 next and all the other parts for shortblock swap.
