I have my PI torque converter for the 5R55S up for sale. It only has about 1500 miles on it and is in perfect condition. It was built in 09 but I had this for a while before I installed it and it isn't under warranty anymore. It is their 3400 rpm stall version in an N/A setup. Asking $700 shipped.

Do these converters require the adapter plate installed?

No this converter is designed to bolt directly to the flex plate, without the adapter ring the stock converter uses.

Well I posted what PI said it is built for but in my setup it only acted like about 3000-3200. I could only foot brake to about 2200 and it would start pushing through the brakes. That's why I got a new converter with higher stall. It was just easier then sending this one back to get it reworked.

I think with your TVS setup it would be about perfect.
