picture request.. short throw

i just bought a short throw pro 5.0 .... can any1 give me pictures of it installed? as far as the boot goes back on? i dont want it to look like complete crap when this one is installed im not sure how it will look and any helpful hints on how ti make it fitt with the boot to make it look nice and neat.. thanks! :beerchug2:

if you install the factory knob back on it will look stock , if you go aftermarket you can do like i did and cut out the rubber o-ring off the top of the boot and use a small tie-wrap to snug it down to the bar itself

If you use the Hurst handle, you can get an adapter that allows the stock boot to fit nicely like this...

Or another option is to get a Bullitt shift boot and it will fit snugly on the Hurst handle without the adapter. I just picked one up and can post a pic of it installed tonight.

They are still pretty steep new (~$130, p/n 8R3Z-7277-BA) considering the trim piece is "aluminum look" and is actually plastic, but I found mine for about 1/2 that used.
