procharger bov flutter?

At around 2k rpm it sounds like it flutters while cruising almost like its gettn ready to make boost any ideas if the bov might me shot?

Also... are the procharger systems blow thru or draw thru?

The only time my procharger bov fluttered was when the vacuum line had a leak. So maybe the seal is leaking ?

The diaphram i think in the black bov seem to go bad you might have to call procharger to send you a new one thats what mine did on my 04 mach 1 i used to have.

Blow thru. Draw thru uses by pass valve and recircs the air back to the intake tube. Can't dump metered air to atmosphere.

Its the black piece of crap its noticeable at cruising at 2k around 60 mph but it sounds louder when i let off of the gas. Also i cant hear it under 2k rpms

I have that black surge valve with the mini filter with the intake tube capped also have both valve covers running to a breather catch can. Would i be able to go with the bid red bov without a retune?

Yes, get one ASAP! That is your issue, that black thing is a POS.

Would a bad bov cause drivability issues such as stuck rough cruising and pausing when accelerating

I had that same issue a couple years ago fluttering, the car would actually die at when I came to a stop ran like shit so I pulled it off and the pin had fallen out that opens and closes it, got a new pin and fixes the problem, but it's a piece of cap replace it with a red race valve man.
