..... I just don't want to lose the integrity of the car.

I toiled over this when I started the idea of modifying my Bullitt. I did the best I could, but I still do. Even though your car is black, I would say continue to follow your heart on that one. You and the guys on here have way more imagination and knowledge than I, so I'm sure you will do right by it. Remember, the number of Bullitts out there is much smaller than the number of GT500's.

That said..... Saleen Heritage/Parnelli Front bumper (cut off the light splitters if you want), Tiger Racing Hood, GT500 rear bumper. That Saleen front bumper seems to really smooth out the front lines of the car and also has a similar look to the GT500 bumper on the bottom.... and rare!!!

I wish you could widen the stockers, but deep dish the front instead of widen at the back. Someone did a rendering of a stock 18" wheel recessed with about a 2-3" stepped lip and it was awesome! For some reason just looked so much better than the offerings of bullitt wheels out there.

I would go option 2 but no badges and keep the rockers painted. And do the wheel widening.

Thanks, and the idea of removing the stock grille with a GT500 front end is a reason alone for me to just go with the GT/CS or even that Parnelli look, now that you bring it up. That's a great looking setup.

I see what you mean on the wheels, but on the GT/CS facia you need a 19" or more to fill it out. I'm trying to think of wheels at the moment.

I've just enjoyed the unpainted plastic contrast on the earlier GT500's and the 10-12 mustang. With all the black it needs to be broken up.

HAHA! I knew you couldn't leave the exterior alone. I was pulling for the widened Bullitts but I know you won't leave them on there either. Fabman has some that he had done with 335's on them...looks sweet.

Damnit... I forgot about those 335's... You made this harder. I'm just going to drive it with no bumpers or hood for a bit.

I did have the GT/CS bumpers. Removed them since the rear accumulated a lot of wear from people rubbing up against it at school and the front had some lower damage.

Vista Blue guys know whats up!


If you decide to do the 10+ mirrors, get the 10s only. The 2011+ have those little blind spot mirrors in them and it added about $100 to the cost when I was pricing mine out. Went with the 10s because the extra money wasn't worth it to me.

Lol, I would only buy them with the blind spot piece in a heartbeat. I drove my 12, now my 13' and when I drive the Bullitt, I'm hopeless without them.

Seriously, I'm telling you Cam, you need to just keep it simple. The absolute most I would do to that car aside from the bumpers and mirrors, would be different wheels. Bullitts are so simple, but so awesome at the same time. (Can you tell I have an affinity for Bullitts?)

If I wrecked my car tomorrow, I would probably be on the prowl for a Bullitt as a replacement.
