It's the shop owner's pet project, and he is oldschool. I think it's fairly certain that 12 second quarters would be considered somewhat catastrophic for this build. It ought to be able to do it considerably faster.

Then again, this is a street car.

I doubt it lol... guess we shall see. He's adding more weight then anything, and I would take a whipple 3.4 over that blower.

The shop has built multiple +1000rwhp Mod motored cars so I wouldn't count them out just yet -- but this still is a street car. For anyone planning on going to Mustang Week, I think they're planning on displaying it there. In fact, the motor was on display last year.

I guess it's the opposite of your S197, but I'd be very disappointed if it didn't at least get low 11's. I have an estimated rwhp figure for the car, but I think it's to early to tell, or even begin speculating what it'll do.

wait, hold up. this thing is only or running 12s?

Hard to say since the motor isn't in yet.

Well goddamn-it-all-to-hell........don't leave a fuckin' coke can in your car, boys, or Junior will accuse you of ADDING WEIGHT TO YOUR CAR and we all know how horrendous that is to Matt's idea of performance.

Gee whiz Matt....I added 150 lbs worth of shit to my car and damned if I didn't pick up over three seconds and 30 mph.

Keep posting pics... I want to see the progress on this! Tubs and narrowed rears are awesome (regardless of what Matt thinks).

Me too, but that is a nice Blower Shop unit. A buddy of mine had two of their 10-71 units on his twin 1200+hp, 555ci, offshore Skater. It may be the same size, if not an 8-71. It's cool in my book.

The car is now sitting on all four wheels. The burnt roof has been removed, and they cut and fit the trunk interior to see what it would look like.

Next up should be paint!
