No guy I wont be going but there is a situation in svtperformance site that needs to be uncovered. If you go there be very cautious of the smackdown cafe. There is a band of transgender lesbian trolls in there that will never leave you alone if you respond defensively when they troll you. they will follow you everywhere. there are alot of them. best advice is not to post in smackdown.

Ummm, you lost me. I'm barely on that forum, and rarely engage in smack talk anyway. I know the biggest mod I need is a "driver mod". I absolutely suck at launching my car. Hoping to work on my 60ft tomorrow.

Support PMI. If there isn't enough attendance, it's going to be all road race events. :(

It's not fun. When I run more than 14psi at the track, I'll definitely need a better boost controller.... one that I can make a good boost map to let it come on more gradually. For now, I'll have to see what I can do with 14psi and 17" ET Streets.

Negative ghost rider. Was at bandi today and my 60's got progressively worse and once I finally got home and cleared my head I think I found out why. The return road was just full of crap and even with a clean off of my street tires, I don't think I was loosing all the little rocks so I just kept accumulating more...I checked the tires right before I went home and it looked like I had just gone off roading. Started the day with a 2.1 60' and left the track with almost a 2.7. If I wasn't so close to moving away from a strip I would get some DRs...I just wanted to see how my new suspension set up would hook off the line =(

the track itself is really well maintained, but the huge pit area and return road isnt all that great. Granted it has been stormy recently and it is the beginning of the season

On my way back. I had fun, but I really need to learn how to get my shit together on the launch. I'd like to see what someone who knew how to drive could do with my car.

Track prep was not bad. There was a giant road race going on though, and the dust from the racers was messing with the sensors on the drag strip. As a result, we could only do 1/8 mile runs. It was a bummer.

Got to meet Judy and even took her down the track once. She's still learning the drag race stuff, but I think PMI will be alright under her care.

with that much power you'll probably need some ET Drags or comparable slick. Talk to psfracer or silverpoison and I'm sure they can help you out

I plan on posting an "I need professional help" thread, after a quick nap.

Here's my best time from today:

R/T: .457
60': 2.246
330: 5.673
1/8: 8.195
MPH: 100.46

I wish...my Mustang is gone, I told Ksack I would bring my 2001 Saturn and run some 20 sec quarter miles.

At your power levels you'll need some serious suspension and tires. Lito is working with me to figure out my failsafe problem that happens when I run my 3" pulley but we're hoping that it's just a torque error.

At my power level which I'm guessing is maybe 700/700 and my car shut down just before the 1000' mark today...here were my incrementals

60' 1.437
330' 4.238
1/8 6.549
mph 108.21
1000' 8.567
1/4 10.279
mph 124.19

I have stock front struts and springs
in the rear I have stock shocks and springs, airbag in passenger spring at approx 12psi, che LCA relocation brackets, J&M street extreme LCA's, JPC race UCA with the UPR UCA mount. As for tires I am running 15" racestars front and back and 325/50/15 M&H racemasters on the back.

I didn't have luck with MT's drag radials and would spin bad with them but they work for plenty of people so maybe I had a bad set. I suspect you are a stick car so your launch will be much more difficult without the right setup. Bias ply tires will be your friend along with a 2-step.

I can't be any help as far as building boost with the turbo and a stick for the launch.

Thanks for the info. It is definitely a bitch launching a stick car the right way every time. Really, tires are a problem, but I'm sure I can do much, much better.

A wotbox is on my short list, as well as a line lock. I'm also considering putting the larger .82ar exhaust housings back on the turbos. I switched them out when I was making a lot less power, with a much more restrictive exhaust. If the bigger housings are as laggy as I remember, I can always put the .63s back on. :)

I also forgot to mention removing the front sway bar to allow the front end to lift easier which in turn allows more weight transfer to the rear tires.

The wotbox/2-step will help a lot with launch consistency but you have to work on releasing the clutch the same way every time.

I hate driving without a front swaybar... I've always felt like leaving the V6 was a good compromise between what the GT has, and no swaybar at all. I'll consider it, though.

I think I can handle that. The wotbox will give me one less thing to have to think about (holding the rpm at the same place everytime).
