I have seen a few mod motored fox body stangs around (3v, 4v powered), but has anyone seen an s197 with a pushrod motor, or one that is carbed for that matter? I think that would be pretty interesting....I wonder what would have to be done to make that happen

I just wish the modern V8s could sound as good as those "older style" like that. The new ones are ok but are NOTHING like the pushrod/carbed. Shame really.

If you are thinking about doing a carb swap, I only have one word that comes to mind... emissions. I hope you don't have to deal with that crap. If so, don't bother because in with most of the states it will never pass.

Can't say I've seen it done much.. but Vaughn Gittin's RTR-X he is building is running a new 5.0 on throttle bodies...that motor looks amazing... :thumb:
