I scratched my glovebox with my laptop bag a week after picking up the car (yes, I was pissed at myself). It wasn't a deep scratch, couldn't really run your fingernail through it, and I didn't see any major dash material get removed. I successfully got the scratch out by using some leather cleaner first and then using leather conditioner (both Zaino). At first, this made the scratch look worse. Finally, I used some Poorboys plastic trim protectant which successfully covered up the scratch. I've since gone over my dash and removed all the protectant, and the scratch hasn't reappeared, so I'm guessing one of the products successfully blended the coloring.
