the OEM look is awesome, but i have to ask.....other than that, what is the point of this, when a projector retrofit would be (probably, as i dont know the going rate for saleens) cheaper, as well as have better output?

not trying to "poo poo" on this at all - i love the OEM look, and proper HID is always a good thing

I have some LED bulbs from LMR in my setup. Made the upgraded Sylvania bulbs look like candles. The fog bulbs are crazy bright. I dont even need high beams anymore. For the money its a hellova upgrade. Headlights and fogs are like $169 or so.

Do they glare other drivers?

It was to have a higher-end look, without ruining the OEM feel, and most importantly to get better output than Silverstar Ultras.

I was looking at projector retrofits for like a year. I looked at everyone's pics I could find, did my own photochops, etc. Just my taste, but I have yet to see projectors on a '05-'09 that look right...to me. The headlight bucket is just too big and they look like eyeballs in an empty skull. Throw in all the shrouds and LED accents you want but it still looks off.

In your own words, I don't mean to "poo poo" anyone who's done a projector retrofit, but for the look I'm going for they're not really an option.
