Sct tuner

Does anybody know if an sct tuner would lock out my obdc from being read by another diagnostic reader? I just took my car through inspection and they said they couldn't access all of my PCM. 2008 model with a VMP tune.

It shouldn't. Never heard of that. I've had SCT tuned cars run thru OBDII 6 or 7 times without issue.

You can turn readiness monitors off in most tuning software could be what's going on.

Then he'd get not ready messages and not be able to be passed.

While possible, the way he words the post, seems its not the same issue.

I agree but its the only thing I could think of that might have anything to do with a reflash with sct software.
