Not drive over 3k?

Ya no I've had several friends who went crazy right off the lot and they have factory freaks due to the very hard break ins

Everyone says that going easy for engine break-in in today's cars is not needed, in fact, they say it's better to beat the piss out of it. All the evidence would suggest that is correct from what I have seen.

The 27 it will be one month I own the car. I wasn't in a rush at all but knowing the s197 as well as I do now allowed it all to go so smoothly.

Springs, wheels and tires before the tags come off - check.

I also had my GT running in the 7s before the dealer tags ever came off, you can do it! :omfg:

Great minds think alike!

I installed the suspension and wheels after I'd had mine for three days. (took the paper tag off for this pic because it looked silly)

I think this was at five weeks:

Sorry for the hi-jack Shark.

Damn that's sexy!

How you liking the megan? Been looking at bc coil overs or h&r ss springs, but would consider these depending on your review

Thanks. I like them just fine but if you're spending this much you might as well just go bc racing

Megan are made by BC. There is a BC warehouse not too far from me. Air lift uses Megan/BC coilovers for their airbags as well. Saleen uses Megan/BC also.....just to give you a idea of who uses them and trust them.

I had BC before my air lift and liked them, only issue I really had was the rear height was a lot lower than I wanted with them maxed out as high as they would go.

Been lurking this thread a while. Can finally post. Looks sick. Love it. reminds me of my car, stanced sterling grey '14 :) Love the wheels, too bad I can't run anything like those with my Brembo's :(

Sorry for the thread jack :hijacked:, but got any pics of the ride height with the BC coilovers maxed out? I have been considering getting a set for the Stang, but mine is a DD and I can only go so low!

this was as high as i could get them, they come with a 7.5" spring i believe and really should be a 10" spring probably to allow more adjustment.

Willy I was also looking at these for my car. I am on sport lines now roughly 1.6" drop in the front and 2" drop in the rear. I am looking for around 2" up front and 2.5-2.75 in the rear. Do you think these will have to much drop is that about where they sit maxed out in the rear?

Well welcome to the forum. Post up pics of your ride.

Didn't want to thread jack lol. Might be raising it back up a bit though come spring. Might order a set or race stars and slicks instead of my concaved wheels. Undecided. I race quite a bit, kind of hard to do with a stanced car lol.

My wife hardly ever drives my car (maybe once a year) but I can just imagine if I had rims that stuck out like that and her scraping them on the curb lol. We recently had a vehicle in the shop and she scraped the crap out of the rental car rims.... hence why my tires are fatter than the rims and she hardly ever gets to drive it.
