At least you car is white. With my blue i was always getting some white spot on my paint.

So at start i bought myself a window marker.

And i killed everyone trying to put white shoe polish on my car.

Later i paid my track every year (25$) to have my own number. (67) and i bought some decal.

Problem solved.

Heads up - paper towels are usually wood pulp based. That = abrasive.

I always used a razor blade (if you're talking on the glass)

I always had good luck with just the high pressure car wash hose, on SOAP setting.

Spray it down, rub it off with my hand, rinse it off.

+1... I'd never put that shit on my car.

Do yourself a favor and buy some Geddex. You can easily wipe it off with anything, even your hand or a Kleenex. I have several bottles and I never ever let the track officials use their stuff on my windows.

After using the Geddex, it just seems dumb to use anything else.
I forgot that people still use shoe polish.

I just use glass cleaner, windex or invisible glass, comes right off.

Now if someone could tell me the easiest way to clean the rubber out of my wheel wells, I would be impressed!

im going to get some shit for this, but any painters in here will back me up. Use Acetone, or any medium grade reducer. It will take that stuff off right quick, and not affect the paint, as the paint is heat cured from the factory. Keep in mind that any wax is going to be gone after this but it will get it off the paint.
