Nice,i like the 18"s wheels too just dont know what kind i want yet...

I think when these cars are lowered around 1.5" that many 18" wheels look fantastic and in many cases BETTER then with 20" wheels. Cars over the years seem to have gotten taller and taller with bigger higher bodies and bigger and bigger wheels and the look is not really all that appealing in a lot of ways if you think about it. Whenever I see that low-slung beefy look it's always welcome site. I will be switching back to 18's soon.

That's a HUGE sidewall on those rear tires, makes the rear wheel look tiny, lol. What size are those tires & wheels? And what wheels are they?

It already sits almost too low for reg street driving, I hit enough shit as is, although it would look better another 0.5" lower...
Maybe, maybe not. I like the way it looks in your QualComm pictures.

And I especially like the no-wing, no-scoop look. Good on ye.

Thanks frank. Now I just need to get up to willow springs for some good Ol' fashioned spousal abuse!

A couple comments:

1.) First off, that's truly an awesome S197 picture, but not all all realistic in the fact that the car can not be driven around like that. Kinda like high-end porn. Everything looks spectacular but it's not how it goes in the real world.

2.) Those Rota's are AWESOME looking wheels and the style fits these cars perfectly IMO.... and it's a damn shame they don't come in a proper offset for our cars. Wheel companies need to take note and in addition to the same old 5-spoke or multi-thin spoke option that have been around forever, add a look like this. It's perfect. Meaty multiple spokes, a dish AND concave!

First off, your a idiot. That car can clearly be driven around daily if you just have common sense on how to drive and take inclines at angles.

Second off, your a idiot. Those are not Rotas they are Varrstoens.

Have a nice day.

Oh really, genius? Is that why he already showed a pic of the fender damage and said he will be switching the back wheels out for a less aggressive offset. And even with a better offset it's still far from practical even if you have perfect roads and entrances. And yes at first I thought they were Rota's - Those wheels are pretty much a clone of them. So sorry I made a mistake, tough guy.

:ftard:

Have a nice day.

I'm pretty sure jv doose has the varrstoens and shark tales has the rotas.

jv doose is running the varrstoens but Im running xxrs.

here is my contribution. I will say the car is low but it still has wheel gap. which I hate. so I have the option of running bigger tires or stepping up wheel size.

keep in mind these are on as trial fitment. the car def handles so much better those oem 235 55 17s are death waiting to happen

im partial to this one!! ... wait a minute... thats my car! lol, but for real- mine is too low to get a jack under, too low to get on the alignment rack and too low to get on any lift, and too low to go over speed bumps and most driveways! truly slammed! sportlines combined with 35 low profiles! and the streets in tampa are for the most part, sucky!
you sure those are 35's? they look more like 30's...

yooo00o0o. thanks man. im running the tires that were on the bros gto. 245 40. def way to small for the car. i have about 3 inches more of lowering in the front and 1 in the rear.

here is what the front looks like all the way down on the factory 17s. i couldnt make it out of the drive way so i dialed it up lol.

shark tales,

what size tires on all four, and wheel sizes with offset?

I've wanted to get some fr500s, but like these better.
