bottom line i always say...pick what sound you like because you will have to listen to it day in and day out. if i loose 10rwhp vs a magnaflow..i wont feel that 10hp and weather conditions can fluctuate that amount out anyhow..

pick what ya like and roll wit it... circus boy is a muffler whore no doubt lol..i was there when he did the muffler swap tests on the dyno.. hes muffler crazy..hes dont swapped three times since that day lol

To the guy who asked about the Borla Stingers I have them with the stock H pipe and they spound great outside the car but drone inside, but I am also an automatic.

I did a swap of the stock mufflers to the Borla's while on the dyno with 300 miles on the car and picked up 0 hp/tq...but the Stingers are smaller/lighter than the stock mufflers.

I have the SLP LMs on my car and want to replace them with something else. I really liked them when the car was stock but once I put the whipple on the car now it sounds evil, its way to loud. I have had a few People actually say that my car scared them when I passed them because it is way to loud. Mid throttle the car sounds great but open it up and it sounds bad:puke:

I put a set of sss terminators on mine. they sound awesome and they are cheap. I plan to do an off road h or x pipe soon. i dunno how they will sound after that tho.

me too, although mine had a different brand name on them, but probably out of a different door in the chinese factory. Same stuff, T-304 stainless, 3.5" tips, canister style. But, they sound great. Pretty mellow at idle and up through about 3,000 rpm then they open up. And for $250 new, delivered with clamps, ya can't beat em. I bought the Next Step Performance variant. They've been selling Corvette exhaust for years and have a pretty good rep. But either SSS or Nxt Step or copies of the stinger-type. Just enough muffle, with good looks and a good sound.

+1 and don't always trust youtube clips - sound quality is generally piss poor on the crappy digital cameras they use to film that stuff.

I love my setup - but I'm running SLP LM II's they were just the mufflers with no tip, I had them welded in because I have center exit exhaust. I have FRPP shorty headers, and a pypes o/r H-pipe, I had a prochamber mid pipe before but I liked the sound of the h-pipe much better.

Good luck choosing your exhaust.

I love the different sound mufflers can give your car. Its funny how the wrong set will make it sound like a ricer and the right set make your car sound like a big block. Anyways, my 2cents. With a catted mid pipe I vote Flowmasters. If you have no cats, I don't care if you run x or h, with NO CATS run something that will clean the sound up more than flowmaster will, because on our cars, flowmasters sound like a 4banger at certain rpms with no cats. My opinion anyways.
