What tool are you using to install tunes and read codes and who’s tunes are they? Interesting that the after cat O2 sensors are not there but there are no trouble codes. Your Tuner said there is no custom tune but to remove the O2 sensors they have to be addressed in the tune or there will be codes so this just don’t add up.

I returned car to 87 tune but no change. I will try some techron in it also. It's so lean it's popping in intake when I rev it a little from idle. I use Shell and it had like three tanks of 93 ran thru so I doubt the fuel cleaner will work. Plus it seems codes would show up unless the two step is preventing that. I'm using a SCT x4

With an X4 you can look at and datalog most engine parameters. If it has SCT tunes or custom tunes in it you can load and unload them but you can not alter the tunes. Yes you can change simple things like rpm set points, gear ratio and tire size but fueling and timing are often LOCKED. You need to contact a professional tuner and tell them what mods you have. They can write a tune for your car and you can use the X4 to install it. You may have a difficult time finding a professional willing to tune a vehicle with the CATs removed.

I've been busy trying to get a car ready to drive while stang is stored. I bought a 92 t bird with 71k. It's pretty ruff(worse than I thought)and has been setting for quite a while 302 sport with auto.
