K so Im running 05-09 Konis and GT500 mounts and today I installed 05-09 Sportline springs on the car because I wanted to raise it up a little from the super sports. Raised the rear about a quarter inch, lowered the front probably another quarter inch. What gives lol, are the 5.0 cars really more nose heavy than 05-09s? I didn't think that there was that big of a difference. I mean like this bitch is LOW as fuck in the front. For anyone wanting to upgrade to 6 piston Brembos that is how much dust is made from about 100 miles of grandpa driving. car was washed two days ago

I had to cut my front springs half a rung to drop the front end down to give it a slight rake, otherwise it was level and looked stupid.

Go low or go home!!!!!!!!!

Yikes at the brake dust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but them 6-pistons are smokin hawt!!!!!

I have the SS's and i may want to go lower. Does cutting a progressive spring like this affect the performance. Do you notice any different feel in ride quality? (bounciness, harshness, bottoming out)

Bad06 it's because you are on struts made for 05-10 models that is why it lowered it more.. same with my car.. it was about a 2" all around and I am using the sportlines for 05-10's and using steeda pro actions for 05-10 and gt 500 mounts! The reason ultraclassic (Darren) isn't as low as ours is he is on stock 11+ struts

Yes, if your Konis are the STR-T's, they are proven to lower the car about 3/4" more up front. They actually make a set for '11-'14 now due to this.
