Lowering your car that much will mess up your steering geometry. You also won't have enough suspension travel.
The steering geometry can be somewhat corrected with parts from Steeda. The lack of suspension travel can only be corrected by using springs that aren't so low OR ARE OF A MUCH HIGHER RATE.
There, fixed that for you...
Also, to the OP: google and study "roll center," and report back as to why slamming the car will NOT help with handling...
I totally understand that slamming the car doesnt equal automatic awesome handling....as a matter of fact I understand it normally equals just the opposite. I want it low primarily for the look. My thinking was a high quality strut/shock combo would compensate somewhat for the larger drop...is there a better spring I should consider that would give me an aggressive drop , better than the sportlines?
Get a good set of coilovers. Low when you want them, performance when you need them. Problem fixed.
You'll still need the PHB and balljoints though.
any recommendations on coilovers??
