I picked up another degree wheel for this upcoming build, bigger is better right? If so simply using this wheel should be good for at least another 25hp lol



Supposedly my machine shop will be done with my stuff this week, I'm not holding my breath but we shall see..

Two fucking months later and the machine shop hasn't even touched my motor! Fucktard! I'm going to stop by there tomorrow and tell them if it aint done by next week come hell or high water I'm gonna repo my shit and load everything back up in my truck and haul it 100+ miles North, to the next closest machine shop I think i can trust, and oh by the way they said they can get it done within two weeks, not two months but two weeks! Two months of my stang' life I'll never get back..assholes! Can;t take this waiting BS anymore!

Okay I stopped by on my lunch break today and had a talk, well coincidentally they're starting on my motor today...I wonder if that would have happened if I didn't stop by? In any case I was promised it would be done on Wednesday next week. Here we go again! oh well at least venting last night made me feel a little better, lol

I did stumble into another somewhat interesting fact the other day, regarding my FRPP valve covers. I have the black covers, laser etched with the Ford Racing logo, well I happened to run one of my finger across the inside of the valve cover and noticed my finger had black spots on it, from the black paint over spray from the factory! It surely can't be good to have that shit getting mixed with the oil.. Here's a before pic, kinda hard to see but all four sides are covered in black over spray, then an after.

It was definitely a PITA to remove the over spray but it had to be done, if nothing else for my peace of mind..

WTF! What's wrong with these shops, don't they realize they only get paid when the job is complete and shipped? Damn if there's anyone that has the resources to open a shop and hire a good machinist or two sure could make a killing!

Also, my machinist called me back this afternoon to report he's not going to be able to finish mine next week after all, surprise surprise! At least they called this time, now I have to decide if I want to pull my motor outta there and haul it 100 miles up the road or take my chances waiting longer, hoping they will get to it the following week.

My vote is to cut your losses now. Imagine if you have issues with their work? I mean at this point I would be worried about the quality of their product from they rushing to get it done

i called my peeps today to check in , and they said the
oil pump gears that "they said they had in stock" came in wrong from
vendor, they told me they sent pumps only . then they told me it will be
done next Wednesday AGAIN .
week 7 coming up !

on a good note they told me he got the copper sprayed on the
head gaskets , LMFAO .
