I have a 2006 GT convertible with a 7.3 Godzilla swap. The car is running and driving (and a lot of fun!). However everything works except the tach. I know where the rpm output is on my aftermarket ecu, but can’t find where the original stock dash cluster picks up the signal. Any help would be appreciated!

I believe the tachometer gets its signal through the CANbus from the ECU. You can view it live using an OBD 2 scanner that's paired to your smartphone with an appropriate app e.g. Car Scanner that has a customizable dashboard.
