I dump the clutch between 5000-5500 rpm, I power shift every gear. My best 60ft so far has been 1.64 and I set my tire pressure on my ET Streets between 14 & 17psi.

 wow, that's what i'm talking about. i don't think i have the nads to powershift every gear though, you're the man!

You said you powershifted 1-2, shit, that's the hardest one!

If you're apprehensive about 2-3, don't be. Just push with the palm of your hand, it will go. If you try to "follow the gate" you'll miss it every time.

I run M&H's and they seem to like a higher pressure than the MT's. Seems 24 psi works great for me on most tracks. I can launch at 6000 rpm with a quick clutch slip to get rolling then speed shift at 6500.

With 4.56's I can pull 1.62/63 60's

I cross the line at 6200 rpm with that gear, in fourth, on a 28" tire.

The only way I have been able to control the bog on a dead hook is a clutch slip. Thing comes out like an animal.

Just takes practice. Work your way up to it.

rojizostang - I run those tires with 4.10s, they are capable of 1.6s 60's

I've found 17psi works very well, do a 3-4 second burnout @ 55MPH in 2nd gear. They hook well with 4700-5000 clutch drops on mine.

Supporting mods - Adj LCA/UCA, Re-location brackets, adjustable panhard and steeda sportline springs (stock shocks)

Practice Practice Practice - that is the best mod of all!

here are a few of my runs

this first one I really smoked them up, usually the first one of the day I do a bit longer

I leave mine at 18 psi all over town but no way you'd catch me on the highway like that. You two are braver than I.
Compared to 125mph on slicks at 11psi, driving 70mph on DRs at 17psi is a piece of cake. haha

i've had this one for 27 years....i'm hanging on to her....maybe.....j/k....i gave up racing before we got married, now the kids are grown and out of college, so i think she sort of expects it. as long as we don't talk about what i spend on the car, we do okay.....that and if i spend enough money on the stuff she wants around the house!

+1! Same for me...kids out of the house, time to be a kid again!

rojizo at least you have a good track nearby; SAR's like 100 miles from here, but I plan on running down there at least once this year. Maybe I'll have my issues worked out by then (thanks to fellow posters here ), and make it out that way before it gets hot.

Closest 1/4 mile to me is about 2 hours....one 1/8th mile 10 minutes down the road....2 more 1/8th miles about 45 minutes...

Just practice....it comes after a while...

it looks like i need to leave at a higher rpm, heat the tires more, and lower the psi in the tires. if i can't make that work then i guess i'll have to play around with feathering the clutch and gas....i'm still thinking about going to at least a set of 4.30's also

4.30's should work good with the shorter tire..

they're 26.3 inches tall, i'm thinking the 4.30's would be a pretty good match. i saw you have the 4.56's with a 28'' tall tire, so i think those would be a little steep for the tire i'm running. i suppose right now though the best thing to do would be to spring for the line lock.
