OK, Im refunding the money sent. Terry knows they aren't worth his time. Besides, he has the record, Evo, JPC, Coffeman and everyone else should be hunting him and calling him out. Not the other way around.

I think the next good race will be the norwalk nmra event.

I tt Shannon at the race, she said Justin will be ready. TT Fred @ Evo, he said the Green car and I think Chris' car will be there.

Should be some really fast stuff. Fred said they are coming out full race / turbo 400 (lund knows how to tune them, lol) and pretty light. So it should be one to be reckoned with.

I know Chris has been doing some work the last couple of months as well.

Justin's will be an interesting combo, he said they are coming with a stick and their single turbo kit. Justin loves rowing the gears.

I really want to see Beefcake vs the Lund TT car with the new power!!

we were running in fl, ken was about 1 1/2 to 2 tenths slower

If they ever develop a transbrake for the 6r80, that car will be a tough street car to beat.

it's pulling the same mph as I am, but 2 to 3 tenths slower in the 60.

With an equal 60, i gotta think that car would be pulling 163-165 mph and running 8.5's to 8.6's

Worst case, will you be at Mustang Week. I'm sure they will be there. Might be hard to back out when you are at the track.

My point was proven by the responses. Those pictures are over a year and a half old. I now have bogarts on the car. Not that it matters, though. That wasn't even the point of my post.

Aren't you still running the 6r80?

yes, i'm still running the 6r80 as well

a turbo 400 with the new setup would probably get 8.2's or better out of the car

That's a huge power difference, a th400 alone won't drop the ET like that.

Car should run 8.5s at sea level air now, a 400 would cut 100lbs of weight by itself, launching off a transbrake at 5k compared to foot braking will be worth .2 IMO

A th400 is only gonna cut about 40lbs out unless you go crazy with lightweight internals. Haven't you cut a 60' in the 1.3x range already? 1.1x would be more than impressive. What kind of suspension tweaking have you done to get into the 1.3x range?

Would be cool to see your car a little lighter and launching off of a brake to see what is possible.

i haven't physically weighed, but side by side, big difference in size, probably not 100, but even at 50lbs, its a nice weight savings

yes, i've been 1.39

i'd like to think i could cut a tenth off the 60 which should net .2 in the 1/4, weight difference plus .1

8.2's... that's my story and i'm sticking with it...

Only one way to find out :)

Would be a lot more convenient if somebody would just figure out how to config a brake on the 6r80 though and not have to do the swap. The tech/sfi stuff available for the th400 is very convenient in comparison, who knows how long we will wait or if any of that will even show up for the 6r80 which is a shame because it is an awesome trans.
