for the texas guys hanging around, i just did a job at a petroleum distribution yard. they're gearing up to start delivery of 10% ethanol for all grades of gasoline statewide. the drop dead date is supposedly oct1 (or maybe it was oct 15, he was throwing a lot of dates out there).
i was talking to one of the guys who works there, and he's into mustangs and was telling me that air fuel ratios will change to the lean side, and probably a 7% reduction in fuel mileage. (fior those who care about that)
i suppose for guys like me that are n/a and not making that much horsepower we can get by without a retune...i'm just kind of wondering what it means to the fi guys that have their afr dialed in just the way they want it.
so it's just a heads up for everyone, if it makes any difference. it might serve to check with your tuner for his input.
if i'm not mistaken, he was talking about state wide. perhaps we'll hear more info in the near future

+1 on the heads up though. Luckily according to the owners manual the car an accept 15% ethanol, so at we're not completely fucked for a while. lol.
