After hours of searching I almost feel like the jw bell housing for the th400 will clear. Here are some pictures what do Yall think.


I also realize that these vehicles are 99 04 year models but if I'm thinking correctly don't the s197 chassis have a little more room

Honestly measurements would be great. Bobby do you know what measurements we would need everything I've been going off of is pictures off your car. The guy at freddy brown assured me that a 4r70w is no larger than a tr6060

Hard to read the picture you posted but it looks like it says for a BB Ford which would be a 460 block so no. You need one that say for a modular block.

Just took a quick look and the only bell I found for the TH400 to modular is an adapter setup from PA. It ain't cheap either...

I have not found one.. Yet. I've been tossing the idea of putting a gear vendors unit behind the trans, and they said a 4r style pick up can be used on their over/under drive unit.
