Hey everyone, got bored at the Lowe's today after looking through some 10+ mustang forums.... picked up two new items that I installed, I was actually suprised at the difference I noticed when I hit 120-135mph down in Mexico post-installation. I used to have a problem where it felt like my front end would start to float around 120, but now ive fixed it. Yes, they are adjustable, I had them 80% extended and it seemed to do the trick! more downforce FTW (may not look the best, but when the guy next to me decides to turn into a back-flipping airplane, ill be happy staying on the ground)
*the install:
1. remove bottom cover, as to expose the lip on the front fascia,
2. look under the lip of the fascia at the two push pins that hold the secondary bottom cover
3. insert drill into the two push pin holes and drill upwards through the lip
4. insert the eye hole screw in the gap between the top and bottom of the lip so the eye of the screw is not seen.
5. go up through the bottom gap and drill into the lip of the front bumper frame
6. line up the hole in the top screw with the hole just drilled
7. get a metal screw, with a washer and put the screw through the hole in the eye-screw and then into the frame hole
8. before you put on the large silver double female ended "bolt", go on the bottom eye screw, put two washers and a nut to tighten the screw into place.
9. tighten the large silver "bolt" to desired tensity to get the bend you want in the front lip
(difficult to describe in text, ill try and get more pics up when I have some time)
heres some pics,
