I ordered the gaper tool from PMP and will order 8 HT0's from summit. Once I get those installed I will take to another place for re-tune and to check on the current tune. I hate the idea of running with a time bomb!. Someone ass will get rimed! I will have to up the boost to make up for the 11% loss

Slow 'ur roll and chill dude! First off, 11% is far from a dead hole so you're not completely screwed.

Everyone is right, put fresh plugs in it and drive it around. With the #8 plug smoked like that you're putting raw fuel in the cylinder and washing the rings out, get it firing again, put a few miles on it, and then do a leakdown again.

I find it hard to believe that the shop had the tools to do a leakdown but couldn't do a compression test, just seems odd. I had to make a custom hose at "Hose and Fitting" so I could use both my compression tester and leakdown setup since these 3V motors use those dumbass looking plugs.

GT500 TB: Don't do it without a tune, reason being, the computer knows the size of the stock throttle body and how much air flows past it as the computer opens it. If you make the T/B bigger without telling the computer (retune) you'll screw it all up. Fly-by-wire, can't fudged it.

Cold Drivability: I've talked to a few people about how the MAF placement screws with these cars, meaning if you change the distance from the T/B it'll do alot of the symptoms you describe.

Powerpipe: What is that suppose to do? Still sits right above the driverside exhaust inside the engine bay = dumb. Bigger filter is all cool and stuff but hot air pre-compressor isn't good.

That depends on how he handles it. If he freaks, as most of us would and makes her feel like shit - no cards (or soup) for you...

If he lies and says - "it's ok honey, its just a car, I am glad you are ok" - then he might get some cards... But they expire, or perhaps more correctly, they get applied to lesser offenses without you knowing about it...
