Not my car but I took some shots of my buddies car. I have been trying to practice with the camera, thought I would share a couple.

Attempting my start with automotive photography. Used a Canon 6D with 50mm f/1.8 lens.

I have strong opinions on this particular subject -- if you have any questions I would be glad to help. I like your equipment :boob: My particular niche is I like to take panning shots of cars at the track, but pit shots can be pretty awesome to.

Just keep mindful of what aperture you use as depth of field can be a key tool. In typical portrait photography one would simply crank the aperture wide open to minimize depth of field to avoid distracting backgrounds. However just remember a car can be 15 feet long, and depending on the angle, you will need to adjust depending on what you are trying to do. Notice the differences below--some I could have used less depth of field, and a couple others I could have used more.

Psfracer, thank you. I left our family farm with only these shots that I liked. The peak behind shot my car and the wall is probably my favorite.

I love to get some pointers on this. I bought a website and hosting to start a blog to do feature cars, product reviews, events, and somewhere to advertise my portfolio.

Hanging out with my friends CLK63 AMG Black Series. We were laughing all weekend at how much my AMR's look like chinese knock-off's of his HRE's. $185 per wheel or $1850+ per wheel.
