The 305 is too big because they rub or you don't like the look? It's tire time for me and I wanted to run a 305/35 Continental DWS and put 275/35 on my front 20x8.5s.

Conti DWS's run kind of small (narrow) in comparison to some other tires.

I'm unfortunately aware. I'm on 275s in the rear and they almost look stretched to me. 10" wide wheel. Absolutely LOVE the tires, just would like a little more cushion.

Have you run the DW as well. I liked them but they were a little squirrelly in the N. GA winter (anything below 35F).
Just wondering about traction vs the DWS

BTW: Discount Tire had the 285/40-18 for $158 the other day

I liked them. Truth be told I thought they were better than my Michelins in a lot of ways. Colder Temps they were definitely better. It was a toss up on average days. Hotter the Michelins seem to be better. But I drive it so little...

Regardless, I like the DWS a lot. If they had the size I run now, I would consider them again.

My daily tire is dws for now. Track sees re-11's. When the dws wears out Im not sure what i will go to.

The 305 bulges a bit to much for my taste and because it does when I hit a good size bump I can hear it just catching the inside of the fender a little.

I wish I had better photos but I think you can get the idea. See how tire bulge is just a bit wider than the fender?

A set of wheels with more backspace (more positive offset) will tuck them into the wheel-well. You should have plenty of inboard clearance with 305's to tuck them in nicely.

Congrats. Black wheels are so hard to photograph.

You bastard. Bronze Burst is so damn nice.

I want F14s something fierce, but these only cost me $50 out of pocket.

Ahhh 18's. Good choice for corner carving. 18x11/12? Vorshlag runs 18" CF5 wheels on something don't they?
Terry runs 18x12 f14's with 335 rubber I think. Or will be this year.

Mine are 18x10.
