What made you go with analog gauges over something like a AIM MXL? I can't imagine all that Auto Meter stuff was cheap.

When I bought it all, I wasn't going to go this far with it. I thought that a 200 MPH speed would be a cool addition to the stock interior. After I got carried away with the build, it was too late. At some point, I might sell the gauges and buy the Autometer Stack Pro Comp Pro.

Window net is in and installed per NASA, PCA, and SCCA rules. However, it's not technically NHRA legal.

Is that because the top mounts for the net are on the outside of the roll bar vs the inside?

the owner of discovery ford here in moses lake, wa is into the FR500 road racing and he jst got himself a boss 302 for the track.....would you happen to know him....since you were came pheasant hunting here not to long ago

That's exactly right. NASA and PCA wants the upper mount on the outside of the cage and the NHRA wants it on the inside.

I know of him. The Eaton that is on the FR500 we tuned last week came from the man in Moses Lk. Since he upgraded to a 302S, he didn't need the Eaton anymore.
