I bought a 2012 GT convertible some time ago. I had no issues with the TPMS. It had aftermarket wheels which I did not care for.
So, I purchased 20” foundry wheels and put them on the car 2 months ago.
All was well for 6 WEEKS.
2 weeks ago “TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR FAULT” warning appears. All tires are inflated properly.
The ‘Quick Change’ at my local FORD dealer checked them out yesterday and could not ‘sync’ them to the car. They said maybe its a different frequency.
However they worked fine for 6 weeks.
According to a quick search the sensors for the 2012 and 2017 wheels are the same.
Any ideas?
