My TR6060 seems to shift better when it is cold. After it warms up, it gets pretty notchy. This is different than I have experienced in the past with other transmissions.

Possible it's your clutch system. When it's hot out I can barely shift my 3650 at all.

Perhaps the thickness of the cold lubricant makes it feel that way.... What are you running? I switched my TR6060 to Redline MTL and it works great.

I had the same issue with my 07 GT500. Are you still running the factory clutch line?

After I installed an aftermarket line in my GT500, I noticed that shifting became less notchy and was a lot more consistent throughout warmer temps.

It may be worth a shot.

I am running Royal Purple. I have the stainless upgraded line from JPC. I am thinking to go with Pennzoil Synchromesh and give it a shot.

I've actually noticed a similar effect with my MT-82. I'm currently running Red Line MTL but this has me thinking about the MT-90 instead?

Well, when running at the road course they get really notchy when HOT. I'm guessing there is a "Goldylocks" zone where they're happy.

Could always try some custom-blended fluid.
I put it in my fiancee's TR6060 and a friend's TR6060, and they both got instantly smoother shifting and no issues when warmed up, just consistent great-feeling shifting with lighter effort.

www.bndautomotive.com call Brian tell him Gabe recommended you

And ask him what he thinks about Royal Purple, LOL ...

I had great success with the Amsoil ATF in my T5 and plan to use it as well in my 6060. Which model year is your trans out of? I'm sure this isn't a real reason, but I've noticed the 10+ ones shift smoother all around than the 07-09 versions.

It is worth a shot.......thanks. Please PM me what he thinks of RP.

I don't remember it word for word, let's just say he's not fond of anything Royal Purple.
He'll agree that Amsoil is the best of the off-the-shelf brands, and yes, from personal experience I can say that his custom blends feel much better than even Amsoil's best.
