Yes, you need to get out of the hole quicker. If I were you, I would consider a different tire than the Nitto's and I would look into a 3500+ RPM Stall TC. That should get you down to a 1.6 - 1.7 60' and you will see 11's.

I would agree... assuming the Nittos are not hooking.

Also, how are you launching the car? Are you powerbraking at all, or launching from an idle?

Wow, very smlar to my numbers with 10 PSI on a PC. I just wasn't making enough power until I got some boost.
I agree, a 3500 stall should get you where you want to be.

Your problem is the procharger

You have to remember a centri makes its power way up top, get yourself a looser converter so you can launch it closer to the maximum torque rpm. If you're stuck with the Nittos run them around 17psi, get yourself an adjustable rear shock like a QA1, and do a John Force burnout. 555R's only work when you get a ton of heat in them.

If you don't want to drive a converter that loose, get a Saleen blower. On 10psi you'll easily be in the 11s and that converter you have now will be just perfect for it.

+1 on the burnout with DRs... you need to smoke them really well.

Also, launching at 1100 rpm isn't helping you. Bring that thing up as far as you can without it rolling on you. With the stock converter that should be in the 1800-2000rpm range. I've gone as low as a 1.54 60' on the stock TC, and 1.60s-1.70s were pretty common.

-1 on the Saleen SC... get a KB. :moon:

I concur. Taking too long for the Procharger to build power with you leaving at 1100 rpm.

Quick word about converters. I ordered the PI 3500 and told them everything about the car but I missed on the rpm that I really needed. The converter will only go to 2500 rpm or so on the footbrake. If you need 3000 rpm on the footbrake then tell them that when you order. We don't have time to take it out and wait for it to come back so we're buying another one.

Figure out where the Procharger starts making power and make that your rpm you need on the footbrake.

don't get a deep pan, waste of time. puke tank, converter, tune is all your transmission needs. I've seen so many over or underfilled transmissions because of deep pans it's not even funny.

I got 10ish pounds, been 11.33 with weak 60 foot. Still running 2 piece drive shaft and full 60 lbs. 20s on the front!

Supporting modifications. shrug.
I would hope someone wouldn't try and throw 10psi on a stock motor, stock maf, stock injectors
