I tried to jiggle the trans over, but it pissed me off... So, put in washers to give it a 1/8" drop and all is fine. No more rubbing. :)

It will suck on the strip but I really don't care about that, think it will shine on an NA or a centri on the street/track, and as I don't know which way I'll take with the car once I take the turbo kit out, chose this. I hate my current 6060. Actually is the thing that I hate the most of how the car is as of now.

OK, is finally here. The bell housing is soooooo light.

Need to figure out a shifter. Want to use the 6060 stock knob I kept. Hope to get the stock long block with cams swapped in soon as a temp solution while I build the other engine.

Yea they are all bent up just waiting on some hard wear and powdercoating

Awesome! I'm definitely going to be looking into one after the holidays. Your website says: "The kit includes all the hardware needed for a quick installion with extra modifications required." Does it just bolt up or what kind of modifications are required? Hard to tell from the pictures, but will you have to drop the shaft?

What are the "extra" modifications?

Are you referring to the plastic air deflectors under the car?

I'm still waiting to hear from Liberty about them locating the proper connection so I can wire mine up to a switch.

I did absolutely nothing and it works fine. You have to push a little harder to get it into reverse, but IMO that's a good thing. Did you ever drive an old VW Bug? You had to push the shifter down (in) and over to get it into reverse. This setup is easier. And the only time I need reverse is backing out of a parking spot or my garage.

Some people cut the spring but if you do that then it may be too easy to shift into reverse instead of 5th at highway speeds, especially if you're getting on it hard. No thanks! I like having the extra resistance for reverse.

Anyone running the T56 Magnum XL kit? I'm interested to hear someone's feedback on the elimination of the remote shifter they advertise with that kit.
