I do want to do a set of cams soon. There are a few turbo specific cams out there, whos using what? do the turbo cams usually require springs?
Based on the fact alone that your going to be running aftermarket cams with boost, YES. Even if the cams say they aren't required, Boost can create valve float from the springs being too weak.
i went from 640 whp @ 18psi to 707whp @ 16psi. with the blow by stage 2 cams. my trq ended up the same but more through the rpm range

Did you read THIS thread before posting?Since I'm going turbo in about a month or two, at most, and I already have NSR Comp Cams Stage II cams, should I upgrade the springs as well.
