Sweet progress on the build man, i have been looking into this route! Yeah i won't have cash to do it right away, but i want to start saving and planning out parts and prices.

My goal is keep the stock motor until money is there to build the bottom end. I originally wanted to buy a Vortech V3 SI trim headunit and bracket and piece the kit together but i can't find the head unit alone anywhere. I take that back, i did find it and it was like $2700 for just the unit alone, no point in trying to piece it together if Brenspeed sells a Non I/C kit for $3800.

Anyhow, i would not mind a turbo myself. My boy can do all the pipe work for me, he has done many of our friends cars and he does amazing work and since he is a close friend he would charge me very little.

Who makes good turbos? I know Hellion/Turbonetics is a pretty good turbo, haven't read much into Garrett yet, Precision has some nice ones. My buddy has a SC61 on his fully built Honda and it makes damn good power.

Where did you find your intercooler and what are its dimensions to fit on a 06 GT?

Sorry if someone has asked this/this has been answered already but what size turbos are these? I saw a kid at the huge 23rd annual show by me today and he had this same kit. He had no idea what size it was though.. His dad built it. Check it.

Garrett has been making turbos forever... I really don't know about any others... That looks like a little bit bigger then my snails, they make many different sizes for the kit...

I am going a much different route with the intercooler piping compared to that.. Mine are gt2860rs's...

Yesterday we worked ont the car from 1pm - 5am and got quite a bit done...

I had made a relocation box a couple days ago:

Once we got that in we were able to test around and get all the gauges hooked up:
not nearly as hard as what booshey did...

we got all my aem and 2 of my ford racing gauges hooked up:

After we got everything inthe car and all the electronics hooked up we turned the ignition on and got 55psi of fuel reading on the gauge...

Exhaust is done wiring is done all we now is the intercooler piping...

only ones i would use unless you go ultra high end and do v-band clamps on all your pipes.

http://siliconeintakes.com/

cheap and good quality,i bought all my clamps and couplers from them

HA those are the ones I have! I was just asking some people were saying they dont hold up great!

Silicone intakes is great!!! their 4ply is really great stuff!

Just picked up a turbosmart eboost2 thanks to RDKDesignsS197!!!

Just got the Boost Controller today! Looks and feels LEGIT!!!

But...
NY got hit with a huge snow storm.... I am shit out of luck because we have had no power for a couple days now...

No Power = NO TIG = NO Intercooler piping...

Have basically no light in the garage so I have nothing done...
Very Frustrating...

Figured I would update...
