Great run!! The guy installing my blower was out there with a slightly modded Ford GT(I think some of the body is still stock LOL), he ran 230.6mph for his best, and he couldn't even use his nitrous.

You must mean Mike. I spent some time with him out at the airport and at dinner, good guy, says he'll be back, I hope so.

I hardly think a L&M motor and custom 4.2 KB blower is slightly modded And from what I read it was that the nitrous didn't activate. Not that he couldn't use it.

Hmmm. 2.3 Whipple/SW headers/CJ TB, 629 RWHP, and geared up to 3.08 to stay out of OD. Same mile speed and I kill him to the half. Color me unimpressed with "project deep impact". Perfect example of how dyno numbers mean exactly jack squat.

EDIT:
That didn't take long, they took the video down!

Very gay.

I would like to see what my car would do in the TX mile. But would most likely need some taller tires.

Just Another 700whp DD 5.0

A whipple at the mile? FUCK that. Inlets were probably thru the roof and running no timing. It wasn't making close to 632rwhp at the half mile mark. What's the deal w the vid? Why did who take it down?

Note to self...add two more meth nozzles if doing the mile...

No I didn't. I just embedded it here and within minutes it was gone.

No idea. They still have this one.

Results went up tonight. When I filter it to just NA cars, there's the expected 9 Z-06 and 1 Viper ahead of me, even more of those behind me. A 5th gen Camaro, a 4th gen Firebird, and a 3rd gen Camaro. Some of those may not actually be normally aspirated, that stuff is notoriously always wrong in these results, for example it shows a Ford GT and a GT500 normally aspirated ahead of me as well. Other NA cars like M6, AMG, 911, R8, every single one of them behind me. My old heap did OK.

EDIT:
Well well well. I wondered all weekend where the red 2013 auto with the TVS tuned by AED was. Found it in the results, it only ran on Friday. Best of 145 to the half, and 166.9 to the mile. Sorry Shaun, you lose again!:spank2:

Probably has you covered pretty good to the 1/4. But between the intercooler in the 200+ deg engine and the inlets it's like a knife at a gun fight. "Let's pressurize the intake, but not add any extra mass, and pull timing on top of it." LOL! I'd rather have N/A at the mile over a PD blower.

Gonna need more than that if you had a PD blower lol

I doubt the pd car has him covered any at the 1/4 as Kris is trapping nearly 8 mph faster at the 1/2.

Just for reference for some of the guys that haven't been to the mile. My 2012 auto had a tune only and ran 154-156 last year at the mile

Now that is all pure speculation isn't it? I will say this, kdanner's car will be at the track soon to see how the CJ intake performs along with a more efficient converter. I have a hunch that it is going to kick some ass. We have put many power adder cars to shame at the track with the N/A stuff.

(I say this as I am moving to a power adder in another month or so.)

Oh, forgot to mention, had a guy pitted close to me with a white 2012 Boss. Best pass was 140 and that was the best pass by far. The others were much worse. He came over asking for help. Turns out he had just installed a Brand J CAI and tune for it before towing down. The car was surging and bucking, and even throwing the wrench light sometimes. A lot of the time I have a stock airbox setup in my trailer but this time I didn't so unfortunately I couldn't help him out. Of course the manufacturer's claim is that no one ever has problems with that particular product, even though people who actually own them have reported problems of this nature on a regular basis. Yet another victim.

Pure lies, AED is the best in the world. Everyone knows this. All the fastest cars are tuned by AED. :D

I could have never said that with a straight face.
