uca mount bolts;installing right now!!! help

I am installing umi adj uca right now!!! , and the 2 18mm bolts that hold the mount to the body will NOT even go but about 1/3 of the way in and the then they get so tight wont even move, should I just go to lowes and replace them or should i re-thread them ????

Go get some stainless bolts and hope they work... Atleast they won't rust either..

I had that same problem on one of my bolts. can you clean the threads with a wire brush? Mine had a bunch of crap on them and needed to be cleaned up.

Just a dumb question, but is the 3rd bolt for the mount under the rear seat loosened? If not it might be a lil tough to get the other 2 bolts in because if the mount is cocked even a little they will go in hard cuz theyre catching on it. Just keep everything loose, even the third link bolts, try that

Yeah, those bolts were a major pain in the ass. I ended up using my 1/2" ratchet for those to get them in.

Like mentioned above you might have to make sure that the threads are cleaned and hopefully they didn't get crossed threaded. But other than that they should not be a issued going in.
