So obviously everyone knows about the T56 Magnum XL. I don't have that kind of money unfortunately. I have been looking around online and have come across the TKO600SS.
Is that transmission a replacement for the TR3650 that can go into my 2010 GT? If so, do I need anything else to complete the swap besides the obvious 26 spline clutch/flywheel?
I seen the transmission for $2,400 on American Powertrain, is there anywhere else that anyone knows that may be cheaper? My TR3650 has been getting worse and worse, and the bad synchro noise is driving me absolutely insane! At my power levels I'm lucky that it has held up to my abuse this long.
Does anyone have any thoughts on any of this or better solutions for me? Maybe even a rebuild kit that is smoother and made for more power? Please guide me in the right direction. I would love to be able to just drop the $5,000+ on a T56 and be done with it but I just can't bring myself to justify that for a transmission
