If you think these numbers are crazy do a google search for Gary Chouest and see what comes up. He owns a offshore boat fabrication and rental company. He is an awesome guy to hang out with a a very down to earth guy. He also is worth more than $5 billion dollars. He was the guy that was going to buy the New Orleans Hornets. The oilfield made some people around South Louisiana stupid rich. To bad he isn't into cars like his brother that is building NOLA Motorsports park.

Because people like that are typically more down to earth than you may realize. I am going to look at a guys collection soon that owns a $25 million dollar car, and daily drives an Enzo and Lexus LFA.

I bet it was a blast driving around town! I'd have hit it WOT once, and then asked him to cruise around town to get reactions. We're all car guys here obviously, but there are an awful lot of people who have no clue what that is, or what it costs. It be interesting to see who actually recognizes the car on the street.

I love how to some of these guys, you are not only not qualified to hang out with this guy, but you are now considered poor! Hahahaha!

IIRC, you are also in the oil business, which would make a lot of sense for knowing him and his family.

I work in the oilfield for the biggest Oilfield Service Company on the earth. So I guess I can only have friends that are in the same tax bracket as me? I hold my own and chose to drive a Mustang... I am not saying I am rich by any means but if I wanted to drive a new Corvette ZR-1, I could because I make enough money to pay for it.

Let me see...I have a 2005 Mustang (Paid Off), 2007 Nissan Titan (Paid Off), 2010 Nissan Murano (Paid Off) and a 7 year old house also paid off. I will have enough money to retire when I am 43 years old if I do not get another raise over the next 15 years....Like I said I hold my own.

I really haven't spent much time up north but in South Louisiana money doesn't make who you are. I hunt and fish with multi-millionaire's weekly. Because they are down to earth people just like me and most of them you wouldn't know were worth anything since they don't flaunt their money. Different way of living I guess....
