As they age they will get louder. If not loud enough throw on a set of headers. Mine really got louder after we installed the 1-7/8'' ARHs

You were just 15mins from my place. I pass there place when I visit a friend of mine who has a 2012 GT.

Nice. The funny thing is that I live about 20 min from JDM and it's just easier and faster to drive to Eric. Great guy and they do good work.

Oh they are broken in already, got them used from a member here and I have had them on the car once. They are just quiet compared to the Outlaws. I will say that they are far more refined sounding. Headers have been an idea ever since I heard my friends '12 with the GT500's and Stainless Works LTH.

LOL, I just added Kooks headers, Kooks x-pipe, and Lethal Performance over the axle pipes to my car....already had the OutLaw axle backs. The sound can kills somebody. LOL

John Deere muffler paint - it is good stuff. 3 coats. The cans look a lot nicer on the car, were getting pretty dinged up, corroded. I don't know how long the paint will last, road debris causes quite a bit of rash.

Going to paint my KR's now, and probably put them back on. These are the Bullitt/GTB mufflers. They are almost silent, it's pretty weird. Feels like I'm in a rubber band car.

I just switched over to GTBs from KRs. It's actually kind of nice to have a quiet car again, but I'll miss the KRs.

It is pretty nice to have a quieter car. The drive home last night was eerily quiet but I will get used to them. Made a tiny adjustment to the driver side muffler as it seemed to be hanging a little low. All is good now. Previous owner sprayed the part that faces out flat black, leaving the tips as is. Looks really good like that from behind the car. May be touching it up a bit when it finally warms up here.

I cannot even imagine how loud this is. Can you get a sound clip up for me/us?

I'll get a sound clip within a few days. It's ridiculous loud in a good way. Lol

After I picked it up from the shop, I took it down the road and got on it a bit in a parking lot. Everyone in viewing distance came out their buildings to see what was making that noise. Lol. Got a lot of thumbs ups.

It's always greener on the other side. When it's loud you miss the quietness and vise versa

Are those mustang wheels on a ranger?

Yep. W/Ebay spacers, the 17" winter wheels I used to use on my '08. Also on there are the worn out OEM tires from my father in law's dodge ram. They mostly fit and work.

Hood pins - I've got the early S197 hood shake something fierce and have a track day coming up so I installed this shelby hood pin kit. I will probably remove the cables - I don't like the way they stand out either way I routed them.
