So her husband just made it worse by trying to turn the tables and blame it on you. The Idiot deserves it.

People are so used to not being held accountable for their actions. 'The husband' is a blooming idiot.

Sadly the Husband is a retired NYC Transit Cop. He kept saying that he wanted to do it through Insurance so there were no issues with anyone trying to Finagle anything. My wife ripped him for that one. He had no answer at all when that started. The cop actually had to ask her to go back inside. My wife normally keeps her mouth shut with everything. Obviously this guy struck nerve!

My thoughts exactly. Instead of being out maybe a few bones for a bumper and some paint they now have a ticket and a deductible to cover. Fuckin' morons. Typical South Florida mindset.

His family is in "the Business". He is retired and his sone is very high up on the food chain for United States customs so I am sure the ticket will get squashed. Personally I don't care about the ticket. Just want the car to be fixed.

Transit cop = Blooming idiot. No surprise there. I hope you don't socialize with these idiots.

Not at all. He is not very well liked in the development because he is a Condo Comando. He is one of the officers of our HOA and constantly give people a hard time about stuff in the development.

What is even funnier is he knows I am in the Auto Business myself for many years and could have done it alot cheaper than normal. Instead I will slam his Insurance and get some extra work done on my car at his Insurance Companies expense

Which is called insurance fraud; which will only help raise your premiums...

My premiums have nothing to do with this as he is 100% at fault. Ticket proves such. As for picking the shop.....I can go to any shop I choose to. Nothing says I have to go where His Insurance Company says. If I can use a shop that I deal with regularly and get a better price, whose fault is that?

You obviously know far more than me about insurance than me so I'm sure you understand that all premiums are bases off the law of large numbers so yes it will not affect your premiums directly but by trying to inflate your damages you will be impacting everyones premium including your own; you also must know what indemnification means, so you must have mispoken when you said:

Because you would know that if you did try to inflate your damages, your state department of insurance would classify that as "padding" your claim. Depending on your state as little as $1,501 is a felony and of course everything under that is just a misdimenor.

But don't let that stop ya ;)

Though I concur she is 100% at fault:

Actually a ticket means jack diddly as far as civil liability is concerned, bit I digress as you knew that too.

Hopefully trading in 2014 5.0 stang. Trying to get 2013 f150 xlt screw ecoboost, 2013 f150 fx2 with appearance package 5.0 extended cab, or 2013 hyundai genesis sedan 3.8

Whick leads to the next question, WHY?

Haha other than the fact that people around my area can't see a bright green mustang?

I'm starting to miss having a truck more and more with new employment/business opportunities coming up, also the EB can be pretty damn quick for what it is. FX2 is just for the features it has, not a big fan of 5.0 in the trucks(almost got a base fx2 5.0 instead of the stang). Main reason I got rid of my old truck was cause of gas(2,000ish miles a month) but now I'm lucky to do 1,000.

Genesis- I like the luxury features on it, that's about the only reason lol.

All 3 are around the same price(give or take a few hundred) and about the same rebates.

It's hard though cause I was happy checking them out on the lot, but then I walked back to my car and was like I'm in love. That damn color is gonna be a huge factor in my decision lol

My reasonable dream truck is a lariat extended cab ecoboost with the cooled seat package, but dealer doesn't have one and I doubt I'd get the good rebates since it's not a on the lot model

Working on getting a 460 cu.in. engine to run after sitting a couple years, in a Ford vehicle with some-kind of horse-related name and emblems (not exactly a Mustang..ok, well, a Bronco, so what).

Let me rephrase here. I did not mean to get extras added to the estimate.

Lowered that sh*t on Tein S.Tech springs. Only driven on them once, but so far they ride as good or better than my Steeda Sports.. even on bumpy roads. Soft spring rate FTW.
