Ordered up new F/R brake pads, Boss brake lines, SHR lower grille, new headlight bulbs, clutch line, shifter knob (mine is cracked), and a new filter for my CAI. Still have a bunch of store credit to burn and no clue what to get!

Give me some ideas!

What did you ever do with the handle I made you?

Long story short, the stick bar specs I gave both of you guys were incorrect for a GT500 and I had to grind it down and then thread it for a TR6060 MGW and I ended up fucking up the stick bar on yours. Lol.

What h.l. bulbs did you get?
One of my high beams are blown and I got to order some.

Putting on new pass intake cam phaser. Found this while pulling cam limiters out this morning

This is what it should look like:

Called my buddy @ Ford and evidently mine is one of a few 2014's he has seen do this. Must be a defect in the phaser itself of some kind.
Looks like the metal just fractured off the VCT actuator button

What are the damages when that happens?
Nothing except cam timing not really being adjusted by ECM on that cam.
VCT solenoid could only push the remaining plunger in about .010" at full extension.

It should have been seen by my previous tuner on the multiple datalogs he has had over the last several months! :wtf:
Commanded cam timing VS what the cam was actually at measured by cam sensor should have been noticed as the car hasn't ran any different lately than it has for quite some time. So this didn't just happen. :chainsaw:
Car ran 11.98@118 MPH last Friday VS 11.91@121 in March and the car has only driven home from track and into shop where I tore it down this morning.
Car has had at least 10-12 revisions on the tune since March and multiple datalogs between each revision.

:omfg: Wonder if this applies to the 2013's as well? Did anything change on that actuator button thingy from 2013-14? I'm guessing no.

Glad to hear you got it worked out. Hopefully that little metal piece that broke off is laying harmlessly at the bottom of the oil pan.

Installed my Ford Racing suspension front and rear. Shocks, struts, springs and sway bars. Going for a test drive in a minute then will take pics of the new stance.
