The last email I received from them Its On
I'm heading up there unless the forecast gets even worse or I see major thunderstorms before I leave.

I really want to go, but a heat index of 108 plus thunderstorms just sounds miserable.

I'm only an hour away but I know what you mean. The weather channel right now says 88 and heat index of 100. I was doing a little cleaning on the car and it's 91 and 104. Sweat was just running off my head.

I'm going but will see how the day goes. I was thinking of taking my car down the track but not now.

So I'm legal here (hahaha) I did put my white S197 sticker on the left bottom side of my back window.

I did a few logs this morning and got my final tune revision from Lund with the torque booster setup. Gonna take 'er out to the track tomorrow and see what she'll do. Shooting for 10's!

50% chance of severe thunderstorms and a heat index of 110. Y'all have fun up there at that AM car show. I'll be home drinking cold beverages and sitting in the AC.

Took her to the track for the first time. Had a blast!
My first pass was actually my best, light burnout.
Figured out on the second pass that a burnout is very necessary! A lot of spin in second gear...
Third pass did a longer burnout and bogged it a little off the line.

L/R/L lane #128 (they called it 125 twice)

Ran a 10.73 @ 128 mph, @ 5800 DA. They wouldn't give me a slip though as I was running in the heads up top 10 street outlaw class. #7 in MT! I'll get a better slip in some better air hopefully. Gained half a second with the torque booster setup and a Lund Racing tune, so I'm stoked!

Got my airbag replaced with no drama. I calmly explained I didn't want any inspections or recommended services and explained how my battery shutoff worked. 15 minutes later, on the road.

5 minutes to the store. Parked for 20 minutes. 5 minutes home. Pretty fucking hot for a short, lazy drive. It was only 95 degrees out when I parked it.

Hold on, the X3 will display OBD info live on the screen? Or is that after you're done?

Those temps aren't out of line for what you are doing. Cars run hot.

Yep, they sure will. Just go to datalogging and you can choose from a list of different things it can monitor on the device.
