Another small piece. Still have to clean and paint AC compressor. Speed Doctor Racing Components Billet Alternator Bracket and AC bracket. Much cleaner look. This was justa test fit. Probably this weekend they come back off and the AC Compressor will get thouroughly cleaned and painted either Black or Argent Grey the color of the Engine Block Itself.

OK so earlier this year, my original Raxiom Vector taillights kinda kicked the bucket (the sequential on the passenger light stopped working so it didn't light up when I braked, had to swap them out)

I had really wanted the Vector V2's but didn't want to pay $400 for them. I found a salvage place on ebay selling those exact lights off a car that was wrecked in the front, for $180, so I jumped on them.

Well, they came in and weren't packed well and unfortunately the passenger side light got a hole busted in it. I notified the seller and they sent me a refund for that light (they had been listed separately), but I found the broken off piece in the box and I should be able to glue it...so I got these lights for like $95. Can't beat that, I suppose.

Well, good news is that taillight was actually an easy fix. Was able to super glue the broken piece in place and you can only tell it was broken if you look up close. Can't argue with a working set of Vector V2's for $95.

Bad news is I jacked up the car to change the oil and I have a blown strut on the driver's side. I hit a ginormous bump at 70 mph on a terrible stretch of highway over the summer and it hit so hard it about knocked my teeth out.

I noticed before I started this that the coolant flow to the inter-cooler was slow.
The inter-cooler fittings on each side of the bottom of the Whipple supercharger entrance and exit fittings.

After flushing the inter-cooler and the heat exchanger and installing a new pump - Wow what a flow now.

I'm afraid to open up the coolant tank while it's running now.IMG_0399.jpegIMG_0400.jpeg

I just looked that up, that's a good price! I only paid a little less for my DSS 1 piece on ebay and that was 6 years ago!
I was going to go DSS but that piece was a bit over a $1000. I read great things about the ford performance so bit on that price. Installed it yesterday and what a noticeable difference it made. Easy install for the most part but it came with wrong hard ware, I had to hunt down some shorter bolts for the rear, and then 2 of the bolts were a challenge to torque down bc of knuckle clearance trouble. I torqued the 4 to 42-43 Ft lbs and the other 2 I had to tighten by my internal torque feel lol or I just went good n tight then a couple more times until it felt like the others. I also did use the blue loc tite. Front bots I re used factory and torqued to 76 ft lbs no issue. I didn’t have to remove my exhaust either which was nice.

I had a leaky header to downpipe exhaust gasket. Changed that....Not very exciting. I need to change my engine oil soon though.

Wow. That thing was $860-ish when I bought mine. Found some random place selling one on ebay for $660.

I had everything out to do the clutch so I figured it was a good time to do a driveshaft too, especially since the stocker had 100k on it.
