What is a good direct fit 6000k LED Bulb for the Raxiom DRL Projector Headlights?

About to pick up my dream Mustang ('06 GT), and the first things I'm doing to it is changing all the lights and putting a Borla axle-back on. I can't find proper replacement LEDs for the DRL projection headlights by Raxiom. I know it uses H7 connectors, but apparently that's not all. Any modern help would be appreciated.

I have the Raxiom 2010 style headlights. American muscle says they use H9 bulbs. It’s been a couple of years since I bought a random set of LEDs off of “superbrightleds.co” (P.N. H11-HLV4) that stated the H9 and H11 were pretty similar connectors. I think you had to remove a tab to make them work IIRC. They work and I’ve used them for a few years now during the summer.
The specs on the bulbs were 4000 lumens at 7200K. I’m definitely in the market for something brighter. Perhaps it’s because the lenses are slightly tinted. Maybe a better quality bulb that is rated the same would produce more light. I’m sure there are much better bulbs with integrated heatsinks since I bought these. I’ve had about 10 different brands in my amazon cart for about a year now waiting to pull the trigger on another set. Keep me posted if you find something!

I have tried a few different style LEDs in several vehicles.
There are 3 basic versions of bulbs: 2 sided, triangular, and 4 sided arrangement bulbs. The 2 sided arrangement works best for hi and low beams. The 3 & 4 sided bulbs have shitty high beams.
You also may need to "clock" your bulb in the housing for correct light dispersion.
Here is a pic of a two sided bulb:

Thank you for this information. Had no idea about those different types of LED bulbs, thought there was only the connector/sizing (H7, H9, etc).

I picked up some led H7's from aux beam to try out.
When? Because when I go to their site I can't find the H7 bulbs anymore, I know that's what a lot of people used in the past but can you send me a link to the purchase page if you purchased it from them recently? Thank you!

I'll do my best to come back and inform you of if I find anything, however the 2010 housing kit is different from the 05-09 one! The 05-09 uses H7 (and strictly H7 bulbs, as per all the Questions/Answers on the site and elsewhere), the 2010 one uses H9; which means even if I do find a solution for myself it most likely won't help you out :( I think AM sells a pair of H9 bulbs on their site though? Perhaps give those a look if they still have them for sale.

And here us the aux beam led. Its a h7 2 beam that clocked right in the correct orientation and locked no problem.

Needless to say led lit up the room better and is a more white vice yellow light so def wont be using the halogens. Here are some bulb pics side by side. All I had to do was modify the boot so the heat sink and cooling fan on the led bulb can stick through.

Mine say S9 which I dont see anymore on their site. But looking through all their h7 headlight options this S2 looks the most similiar. If I didnt already have mine that's what I would pick up to try if I was looking today.

Wow those images helped loads, you GOTTA slap them on the Mustang man haha they look so good! And I'm sure you can bang it out in an hour or less! Those LED's make the headlights much more usable so definitely going to pick up these S2's since they seem pretty similar. Going to look up the differences between these and the S9's you bought. Thanks a lot again man. Cheers bud.
