I do not want to hijack this thread or offend the OP. If you run a 100 shot would it be wise to upgrade the pump?

We have been running the crap out of a 100 shot since this happened.Tune is good from DOug and I haven't had a problem on the stock pump.

We have put 10 bottles thru it in the last couple weeks.

so for the 100 shot..besides Doug's tune what are you guys running? plugs? gap? octane? etc..

We have the ht0's in,but tried them on the stock plugs just to see.And I have to say that we ran 4 bottles on the stock plugs and we checked them everytime we ran the spray on the dyno and street and the stock plugs looked fine.When we took them out aftert the 4th bottle for the hto switch they look just as good as the hto's do now with 6 bottles on them.

We haven't run the shot at the track yet.Just the street and dyno,but that shouldnt make any difference.We even left the gap at what they come and have not regapped them yet and dont think I will until we go to the 150 shot.

I suggest to my customers to get a good tune,run the ht0's on a 100 shot,I only run it the way I did,to do some testing.I wouldn
t recommend running the same way I did to anyone.Also we ran that on 93 octane.
I would say that you should go with a 100/93 mix.This is to "help" with detonation.
You can run 104 even,if you want to.

Adding that higher octane unleaded sure is nice , just expensive. I will run 101 and 91 mix every time. I use the Brisk 1 piece plug gapped at .350 . I like to check the leanest plug after every nitrous run. Plstang suggested it to me. It also gives me a safer feeling , for what it is worth. I run Doug`s 100 shot tune also. My AFR is at 11.83 at the highest point. Here is dyno sheet.
